The North Eastern Railway (NER) has issued a tender for a significant infrastructure project aimed at enhancing safety and operational efficiency along the Kanpur Anwarganj–Mandhana rail corridor in Uttar Pradesh. The project is focused on eliminating level crossings and modernizing the rail network.
The contract covers civil engineering work for the construction of a 15.51 km elevated railway track between Kanpur Anwarganj (excluding) and Mandhana (excluding). The project will be implemented under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model, with a total estimated cost of ₹1,115.66 crore.
The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete execution of the project, including design, material procurement, construction, and final commissioning. The stipulated completion timeline is 24 months.
The deadline for bid submissions is 08 September 2025.
