SJS Enterprises, a leading decorative aesthetics solutions provider in India, has signed a Technology License cum Supply Agreement (TLA) with Hong Kong–based BOE Varitronix (BOEVX) as part of its strategic expansion initiatives.
Under the agreement, SJS will assemble and optically bond automotive displays for four-wheelers in India. BOEVX will supply critical components, including cover glass and backlight units, and will also support the localisation of optical bonding processes. Additionally, BOEVX will transfer licensed technology and know-how, and provide training to enable SJS to strengthen its capabilities in manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality control.
The collaboration is aimed at enhancing SJS’s automotive portfolio, accelerating the localisation of advanced display components, and addressing the growing domestic demand for sophisticated in-vehicle display systems. With this partnership, SJS is positioned to emerge as a comprehensive solutions provider in the automotive display segment. A company spokesperson stated that SJS remains committed to reinforcing its leadership in the automotive sector through innovation and strategic partnerships.
