Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam (BRPNN) has invited bids for the construction of a new dharamshala in Gaya, Bihar. The dharamshala, which will be named the Gaya Ji Dharmshala, will be located in the heart of the city, close to the Vishnupad temple, one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites in India.
The dharamshala will be a four-story building with a total of 1,080 beds. It will also have a kitchen, dining hall, conference room, and a medical facility. The dharamshala will be constructed on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode and is expected to be completed within 24 months.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 102.87 crore. The end date for bid submission is 18 December, 2023.
The construction of the Gaya Ji Dharmshala is a major initiative of the Bihar government to improve the infrastructure for pilgrims visiting Gaya.
