Gujarat Launches ₹1,500 Crore Healthcare Hub in Ahmedabad

The Health & Family Welfare Department of Gujarat has invited bids for the appointment of a consultant to provide master planning, architectural, and engineering design services for a large-scale healthcare project in Vasai, Taluka Dascroi, Ahmedabad district.

The consultancy assignment covers end-to-end design and planning for the phased development of A general hospital, Medical and paramedical education institutions, Super-specialty healthcare services, Allied research infrastructure

The consultant will be responsible for Preparing master plans, detailed architectural and engineering designs, Delivering working drawings, cost estimates, bills of quantities, and technical specifications, Drafting tender documents and supporting the bid evaluation process

Estimated project value: ₹1,500 crore, Project duration: 2025–26 to 2030–31

Work will be executed under the supervision of the Engineer-in-Charge, and the master plan must receive approval from the State Health Department's competent authority.

Bid submission deadline: 04 October 2025

This initiative is part of Gujarat’s broader strategy to strengthen public healthcare infrastructure and expand access to advanced medical education and services.
