Nextracker, a leading global provider of solar tracker technology and software solutions, has joined forces with Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWRE) for a significant solar initiative in Gujarat.
This partnership will supply solar trackers for two phases, totaling 1.875 gigawatts of direct current (GWdc), for NTPC Renewable Energy's solar park in Khavda, Rann of Kutch. The collaboration represents a pivotal advancement in deploying solar energy solutions across challenging terrains and diverse geographic regions.
With a presence in India, Australia, the USA, Jordan, Egypt, Kenya, and Oman, the collaboration between Nextracker and SWRE underscores their dedication to bolstering global renewable energy capacities. Achieving over five GW collectively in seven countries highlights the strength of their partnership and shared commitment to clean energy. Nextracker's cutting-edge technology plays a pivotal role in realizing these ambitions.
By securing this domestic order, Sterling and Nextracker have surpassed over five GW of collaborative solar power generation projects worldwide. With a portfolio exceeding 17.5 GWp, their mission aligns with delivering efficient and timely solar energy solutions on a global scale. Nextracker's expansion in India, including its Hyderabad office and manufacturing capabilities, aligns with the nation's renewable energy targets.
Nextracker's Indian manufacturing facilities, with a production capacity of 10 GW per year, have exported 8 gigawatts of solar tracker products, further enriching India's renewable energy landscape.
