SEPC Strikes Gold with ₹230 Crore MOIL Order

SEPC, a leading Indian engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company with expertise spanning water, municipal services, roads, industrial and mining infrastructure, has secured a Rs 230 crore turnkey order from MOIL.

The contract involves the design, construction and commissioning of a third vertical shaft at the Chikla Mine in Maharashtra. The order comprises Rs 167.85 crore for the domestic scope and USD 36.52 lakh for imported plant and machinery, with SEPC emerging as the lowest bidder. The scope of work covers end-to-end execution, including engineering, civil works, equipment installation and furnishing, aimed at enhancing mining infrastructure and operational efficiency at the Chikla Mine.

This order strengthens SEPC’s footprint in the mining infrastructure segment and underscores its capability to execute complex, high-value projects with long execution timelines. The project structure also supports efficient capital utilisation and provides revenue visibility, in line with SEPC’s strategy of focused growth in core infrastructure sectors.
