WRD Maharashtra Tenders ₹75.52 Cr Rubber Dam Project

The Water Resources Department (WRD), Maharashtra, has invited bids for the design, supply and installation of an air-inflated rubber dam for the Bid Chichghat Lift Irrigation Scheme on the Kanhan River.

The project will be executed near the aqueduct of the Pench Right Bank Canal at kilometre 22 and includes the construction of the rubber dam along with its sub-structure and all associated works. The initiative is aimed at improving irrigation efficiency and strengthening water management in the region.

The project has an estimated cost of Rs 75.52 crore and is scheduled to be completed within 33 months. It forms part of the state’s broader efforts to upgrade irrigation infrastructure, supporting agricultural productivity by ensuring a regulated and reliable water supply to farmlands.

The last date for submission of bids is 07 January 2026.
