Ayodhya’s Newest Oasis: Eco Hotels & Resorts Now Open

Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited has opened a new hotel in Ayodhya, tapping into the city’s booming pilgrimage tourism. Situated just 5 kilometres from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the property features 33 rooms, a rooftop restaurant, a landscaped lawn, and a swimming pool. The restaurant, “Sahar — Back to the Roots,” serves satvik vegetarian cuisine without onion and garlic, along with gluten-free breakfast options.

The launch coincides with a remarkable surge in visitor numbers: Ayodhya welcomed around 57.5 million visitors in 2023, which jumped to over 160 million in 2024. In the first half of 2025 alone, the temple town has already attracted more than 230 million devotees, highlighting the rapid growth of spiritual tourism in the region.
