Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the country’s largest hospitality group, has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Mahapura, Jaipur.
The 161-key property will further strengthen IHCL’s footprint in Jaipur, adding to its 16 operational hotels and five under development. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, noted that Jaipur is emerging as a major business hub in addition to its established appeal in the leisure and MICE segments. Gateway Mahapura will address this growing demand while offering convenient access to cultural landmarks such as Amber Fort and City Palace.
Designed for both business and leisure travellers, the hotel will include multiple dining options, a swimming pool, fitness centre, and a 9,000 sq. ft. banquet hall for events. The project underscores IHCL’s commitment to expanding its upscale portfolio across key Indian cities.
