Trac x Coolbrook: Machining the Future of Clean Energy

Trac Precision Solutions, part of the PTC Industries Ltd Group, has entered into a multi-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Coolbrook Oy, a company specialising in transformational technology and engineering.

The collaboration will focus on machining and manufacturing components for Coolbrook’s innovative Rotodynamic Heater (RDH) technology. Under the agreement, Trac will act as Coolbrook’s preferred partner for aerofoil machining, supporting the production of first-generation RDH units as well as future industrial-scale expansion.

The partnership also includes early-stage collaboration on design for manufacture (DfM), production readiness and future design optimisation. The MoU represents a key milestone in Trac’s strategy to expand into high-value industrial electrification and clean technology manufacturing.

Through the collaboration, Trac will work closely with Coolbrook’s engineering teams to enhance manufacturability, improve production efficiency and support the long-term industrialisation of RDH technology. The five-year engagement will focus on optimising scalability through design for manufacture, aligning with Coolbrook’s commercial and technology roadmap and supporting the broader transition towards cleaner industrial energy solutions.
