AP’s MSME Makeover: Tech, Skills, and Global Reach

The Centre has approved the establishment of MSME Extension Centres in Anantapur and Vizianagaram to accelerate industrial development in Andhra Pradesh. The initiative supports the state government’s flagship ‘One Family–One Entrepreneur’ programme spearheaded by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, aimed at strengthening the MSME sector.

MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas stated that the centres will offer end-to-end support such as technology access, skill development, incubation, and consultancy services to reinforce the MSME ecosystem. APMSME Development Corporation Chairman Tammireddy Siva Sankara Rao noted that the centres will help bridge technology gaps faced by micro enterprises in Rayalaseema and North Coastal Andhra, enabling them to compete at a global level. The initiative also aligns with the long-term vision of Swarna Andhra @2047.

Additionally, the state government is expediting the establishment of MSME parks in every Assembly constituency, providing affordable land and modern infrastructure to encourage startups and high-tech industries.
