Big Win: VPRPL-SBEL Secures Rs 269 Crore Railway Project

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia (VPRPL) has announced that the VPRPL-SBEL JV has secured a major infrastructure contract from the competent authority.

Valued at Rs 2,696.85 million, the contract involves infrastructure development from Mandpiya to Chanderiya as part of the Ajmer-Chanderiya doubling project under North Western Railway. The scope includes formation works such as earthwork in embankments, cutting, and blanketing, along with the construction of important, major, and minor bridges, road under bridges, limited height subways, foot over bridges, trolley refuges, toe walls, retaining walls, pitching, and side drains.

Additionally, the project covers building works for station structures, service buildings, platform shelters, and staff quarters related to civil and traction distribution. P. Way works include ballast supply, transportation of P. Way materials, broad gauge track laying and linking, along with electrical (General) works and other related tasks.

This contract represents a significant step in enhancing railway infrastructure in the Ajmer division, reaffirming VPRPL’s expertise in large-scale railway construction.
