Hindustan Power Lands 425 MW Solar Deal with Uttar Pradesh

Hindustan Power has secured a 425 MW solar project from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) through a competitive e-reverse auction.

UPPCL has issued a Letter of Award (LoA), and a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has been signed, ensuring the sale of electricity at a fixed tariff over the next 25 years. The project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months from the PPA signing.

Commenting on this achievement, Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power, stated, "This win aligns with our commitment to meet Uttar Pradesh's increasing demand for clean and sustainable energy solutions."

Hindustan Power aims to expand its renewable energy capacity to 5 GW by 2028, further strengthening its role in India’s clean energy transition.
