Micromax Informatics, a prominent Indian consumer electronics brand, has ventured into the renewable energy sector with the launch of "Startup Energy," a new initiative dedicated to manufacturing high-efficiency solar panels.
This new entity is committed to providing affordable and scalable solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications across India. As part of its expansion plans, Micromax has partnered with Jinchen to establish a five-GW advanced solar module manufacturing line, set for phased deployment. This facility will incorporate cutting-edge automation and high-efficiency production technologies, ensuring top-tier quality and precision engineering.
Additionally, the company intends to explore strategic R&D collaborations aimed at developing next-generation solar technologies. With India targeting a 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030, the demand for locally produced, high-quality solar panels is growing rapidly. Micromax Energy aims to meet this demand by providing superior solar solutions.
