Redington and Websol Power India's Rooftops

Redington, a Fortune India 500 company and leading integrated technology solutions provider, has partnered with Websol Energy System (WESL)—a pioneer in solar PV manufacturing since 1994—to launch residential rooftop solar kits across India.

This collaboration aims to accelerate affordable rooftop solar adoption by offering customers access to Central subsidies of up to ₹78,000, along with additional state-level incentives. Under the partnership, Redington Solar will distribute bundled rooftop kits ranging from 2 kW to 10 kW, featuring Websol’s high-efficiency solar modules, inverters, and balance-of-system (BoS) components.

Tailored for households and small businesses, the kits are designed to deliver clean, reliable, and cost-effective power solutions. The initiative leverages Redington’s extensive national distribution network to scale access to Made-in-India solar technologies, aligning with the government’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat and clean energy transition goals.

“Our partnership with Websol allows us to offer solar kits that empower customers to harness solar energy while benefiting from government subsidies,” said Pradeep Srikanthan, Vice President, Redington Solar.
