VRPL to Deliver 148 MW WTG Capacity in India’s Wind Hub

Venwind Refex Power (VRPL), a subsidiary of Refex Industries, has secured a contract from a leading independent power producer for the supply of wind turbine generators (WTGs) for wind power projects in Tamil Nadu.

The order involves an aggregate capacity of 148 MW. VRPL’s scope of work includes the design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and supply of the WTGs, along with associated technical support and supervisory services. Awarded by a domestic entity, the project is scheduled for completion by September 2026, with deliveries to be executed in line with prevailing industry standards.

This contract strengthens VRPL’s presence in the wind energy sector and further reinforces its footprint in Tamil Nadu, one of India’s most prominent wind power hubs.
