The Adani Group is set to make a significant expansion into India’s hospitality sector, with plans to develop one of the country’s largest hotel portfolios. The initiative forms part of the group’s broader strategy to monetise its infrastructure assets, particularly around its growing portfolio of airports and associated real estate developments.
Under the plan, the Adani Group intends to develop more than 60 hotels across India, largely integrated with airports it operates. Navi Mumbai is expected to be a key focus area, with around 15 hotels planned in and around the upcoming international airport and surrounding real estate projects. Rather than managing the properties directly, the group will partner with leading international hotel operators for hotel management, distribution, and customer loyalty programmes.
The hospitality push aligns with Adani’s vision of transforming its airports into multi-use urban hubs, combining aviation infrastructure with retail, entertainment, convention, and hospitality offerings to create integrated destination developments.
