Manixil Bio Organics planning to set up Chemicals Manufacturing Unit Project in Karnataka

Manixil Bio Organics is developing a new project for synthetic organic chemicals at Kudumalakunte, Chikmagaluru, Karnataka. The project is projected to cost roughly 5 crores, with synthetic organic compounds accounting for 45.15 TPA. The company intends to manufacture a wide range of synthetic organic compounds, such as insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. 

The project is scheduled to be finished by 2025. The state government of Karnataka has been encouraging the construction of chemical parks in the state. Due to its proximity to National Highway 48 and the Chikmagaluru airport, the state government has picked Kudumalakunte as a potential location for the park. The park is planned to attract investment from other chemical industries and aid in the expansion of chemical industry in Karnataka. Chemical parks are part of the government's ambition to make India a self-sufficient chemical manufacturing powerhouse. 

The government has also offered incentives to chemical businesses interested in establishing production plants in India. These initiatives are expected to assist enhance chemical production in India and lessen the country's reliance on imports. As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started the work on the project will be finished in 2024, 2025 or 2026 It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
