Genus Power Infrastructures’ subsidiary has won three significant contracts worth ₹3,608.52 crore. The contracts involve the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 4.26 million smart prepaid meters and system meters under the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. This project will be executed on a DBFOOT (Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, and Transfer) basis.
The company, known for its expertise and innovative solutions in smart metering, continues to lead the market with its advanced offerings, backed by a strong in-house R&D center. With these new contracts, Genus Power's total order book has reached approximately ₹28,000 crore.
Genus Power operates manufacturing plants in Jaipur, Haridwar, and Guwahati, with a combined capacity of over 10 million meters. Its key clients include state electricity boards (SEBs) and private utilities, solidifying its position as a leader in the smart metering industry.
These new orders further strengthen Genus Power's market presence, emphasizing its role in advancing India's energy infrastructure through cutting-edge smart metering solutions.
