Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd., as part of a consortium, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL), New Delhi, for a major railway safety and signalling project.
The scope of work includes the survey, design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the KAVACH train collision avoidance system, along with towers and associated infrastructure. The project spans a double-line automatic signalling section covering approximately 931 km on the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC). Key sections include New Boraki–New Khurja, New Bhaupur–New Unchdih, and New Sonnagar.
The total contract value is ₹209.82 crore, with a scheduled completion period of 24 months from the date of the LoA.
This latest win brings the consortium's cumulative order value—secured since April 1, 2024—to ₹3,346.35 crore, further strengthening Kernex Microsystems' position as a key player in advanced railway signalling and safety technologies.
