The Rashmi Udyog Private Limited's new Captive Power Plant (WHRB) Expansion Project in Baghmuri Village, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, is a major investment that, if successful, will increase the state's capacity to generate energy.
It is estimated that the project will increase the capacity of the existing captive power plant by 88 megawatts (MW) of waste heat recovery boilers (WHRB).
The total cost of the project is 1,500 Crores.
The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 45% mark. The work on the project will be finished by December of 2024.
