Beckman Coulter is setting up a mfg unit in India

Beckman Coulter, a leading diagnostics products manufacturer, is actively exploring the establishment of a manufacturing unit in India as a strategic move for long-term market expansion. Presently engaged in discussions with the global business unit (BU), the company envisions an initial focus on producing consumer goods within the country.

As part of the Danaher Corporation, Beckman Coulter aims to concentrate on business-to-consumer (B2C) operations and automation, fostering closer collaboration with healthcare providers directly involved in patient care.

The company is committed to implementing a core business strategy centered around creating value through simplified and automated laboratory solutions. This approach is designed to enhance patient outcomes and contribute positively to the healthcare landscape.

Operating under the name Beckman Coulter India (BCIPL), the company currently boasts a workforce of 300 employees. Additionally, the India Development Center, situated in Bengaluru and affiliated with BCIPL, serves as a global research and development (R&D) hub for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.

With a team of 800 professionals, the center primarily focuses on hardware and software testing to support the company's international portfolio. This expansion and investment in India underscore Beckman Coulter's commitment to innovation, manufacturing excellence, and strategic partnerships in the region.
