Dara Engineering Secures ₹351 Crore Water Supply Project in Rajasthan

Dara Engineering & Infrastructures has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a significant water supply project in Rajasthan, valued at ₹351.10 crore. The project, initiated by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan, involves the Barmer Lift Water Supply Project Phase-II, Part-C.

The scope of work under this project is extensive, including the execution of cluster distribution, internal village pipe distribution, and geo-tagging in 346 villages in Barmer. Additionally, the project includes the construction of Clear Water Reservoirs (CWR), pumping stations, and the provision of Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) to enhance water accessibility across the region.

The project not only addresses the immediate infrastructure needs but also includes a one-year Defect Liability Period (DLP), ensuring that any issues arising during the initial phase of operation are promptly addressed. Furthermore, Dara Engineering will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the entire system for a duration of 10 years, ensuring sustained water supply and system reliability.

This contract marks a significant achievement for Dara Engineering, enhancing its portfolio in large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful bid reflects the company’s competitive edge and its ability to deliver essential public utility projects in challenging environments.
