WABAG Liquidity: Secures Major Expansion Contract with BPCL

VA TECH WABAG, a leading multinational in water technology, has secured a major order from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the Bina Petrochemical and Refinery Expansion Project in Bina, Madhya Pradesh.

The contract includes the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of advanced water treatment facilities for the BPCL Bina Refinery. These comprise a Raw Water Treatment Plant (RWTP), a Reverse Osmosis-based Demineralisation Plant (RODMP), and a Zero Liquid Discharge Plant (ZLDP). WABAG will be responsible for the complete scope of work, covering design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.

The project is scheduled for completion within 22 months. This order further reinforces VA TECH WABAG’s strong position in the industrial water treatment segment and highlights its expertise in delivering large-scale, complex water infrastructure projects.
