The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is in the final stages of constructing a 26.6-km greenfield four-lane corridor on NH-47. Developed at an estimated cost of ₹1,011 crore, the project connects the MR-10 junction on the Indore bypass to Nemawar Road in Raghogarh, Madhya Pradesh, with completion targeted for early January 2027.
Designed to ease traffic around Indore and boost regional connectivity toward Nagpur via the Indore–Harda–Betul route, the infrastructure includes one major bridge, several minor bridges, and 19 vehicular underpasses alongside comprehensive road improvement works.
