Serene Communities, the senior living arm of Columbia Pacific, is set for a significant expansion with plans to launch around 3,000 senior homes across 13 projects in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mysuru, Pune, Kochi, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad this financial year.
Supported by an investment of about ₹2,500 crore, the company will deploy an additional ₹1,000 crore next year, adding more than 1,250 units to its pipeline. The upcoming homes—priced between ₹60 lakh and ₹1 crore—will primarily be developed through collaboration partnerships with real estate developers. Serene Communities currently operates 10 communities with about 1,700 units and has nearly two million sq. ft. under development.
Hyderabad has become a key growth market, with two projects worth ₹400 crore and comprising 550 units underway in Shankarpalli and Shamshabad. The company is also evaluating opportunities in Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, and Gujarat to build a pan-India presence. Additionally, Serene Communities will introduce an assisted living vertical by March next year, offering rental-based senior housing models to improve affordability and access.
